Marc has been building business software for thirty years: desktop and client/server systems first, then VB, SQL Server and .NET, then the web, the cloud, mobile and now AI. Most of the systems we take over were built with tools he has shipped with himself, so an old VB6 form or an Access database is familiar ground rather than archaeology.
He started Solve With Software in 2012 and still writes the code. The person you speak to on the first call is the person who leads the work. When a build needs a team, he brings one in, working to his architecture and standards: 70+ years of combined experience between them.
Much of that work has been in sectors where getting it wrong is expensive: NHS mental health services, UK retail banking, group litigation, haulage and construction. Regulated industries are unforgiving of vagueness. They teach you to be careful about what you promise and precise about what you deliver.
Outside client work he founded Colchester Dev Club and Colchester.Network. The second sat on a registered domain for years because the build cost was too high. AI-assisted development brought that down, and it shipped in eight weeks.

AI-assisted development changes what modernisation costs. Work that was too expensive to justify is now within reach, so the focus moves to taking over stranded business systems, old or recent, and modernising, extending and AI-enabling them. Our own platforms run the Claude API in production, and our delivery process is AI-assisted from first design to final release.

Fixed prices, before you commit. The assessment and the care plan are priced on the pricing page. The work is priced by the assessment: a fixed price for each option, days after we start. An overrun is our risk, not yours.
You own the result. Full source code and ownership transfer to you on final payment. No licence, no lock-in, no charge for leaving, and open, widely used technology any competent developer can pick up.
Something working in six weeks. Each phase takes one process and gets it live. Soon enough to find out whether we understood how you work, before you commit to anything bigger.
